Introducing Lex's Book Club

I’m so excited to share that I’ve decided to launch my own book club called Lex’s Book Club! It's very relaxed and a “read at your own pace” style, designed solely to encourage you to read more this year. As I shared in my previous blog, I struggled to hit my reading goal in 2020 so for 2021, not only am I branching out of genres I tend to read, I also wanted to share my reading journey through the form of a book club.

Every 3 months I will release the titles that I plan to read in that time. Once the 3 months are up, I will publish a blog post with my review of each title and the list of books for the following 3 months.

My goal is to read 2 books a month, varying in genres and topics. If you’d like to get involved, follow me on Instagram where I’ll be sharing my reading journey. I have also added a new feature to my blog that allows you to comment through your Facebook account. Scroll all the way to the bottom of this post to check out the new feature! This will allow you the opportunity to continue the conversation and let me know your thoughts on any of the books I reviewed for that period.

It’s a very “unofficial official” book club. My goal is to inspire and encourage others to read more. If you see a book I’ve chosen that interests you, please read along but if none of the books for the 3 month period peak your interest, you can follow along during the other periods. If you have any books that you’ve loved or want to read, let me know in the comments below and I’ll add it to my list!

The first Lex’s Book Club Wrap Up will be published the first week of April where I’ll release the next titles for April-June!

I’ve created a Goodreads group titled “Lex’s Book Club” if you’d like to follow along on there. I’ve also considered creating a Facebook group page so let me know what you think of that as well!

I’m so excited for this little book club. I’ve long been a bookworm and reading enthusiast, so I feel like it’s only fitting that I start a book club of my own!
